Move your Trust & Will documents into HearthVault
Keep the will, trust or guardianship documents you made with Trust & Will, and give them a home your family can actually reach — with reminders to review them.
1. Export from Trust & Will
- 1Sign in to Trust & Will and open your dashboard.
- 2Download each finished document as a PDF (Will, Trust, Power of Attorney, Healthcare Directive, Guardianship).
- 3If you signed and notarized printed copies, scan or photograph the signed pages too — the signed version is the one that counts.
- 4Drop the PDFs and scans into the HearthVault wizard; they land in Wills & estate and fill the matching Estate Library slots.
2. What lands where

Documents keep their titles, get an “Imported from Trust & Will” note, and the Library reminds you to review them every few years.
3. Import in HearthVault
- Create your vault (name + PIN, one minute), or open the Switch wizard from “Add documents” in an existing vault.
- Pick Trust & Will, drop the ZIP or choose the folder — files upload in small pieces.
- Check the preview: one row per folder with a suggested category you can change.
- Start the import and carry on; a progress bar shows each document as it's filed.
Staged files are deleted the moment the import finishes; filed documents are encrypted at rest.
